Q734. How does EPA define a “facility” for petroleum and natural gas systems?


A736. Subpart W is a threshold based subpart and facilities are only required to report if their combined emissions from all applicable GHGRP source categories exceeded 25,000 metric tons CO2e per year. EPA is currently in the process of reviewing the GHGRP data to determine whether all facilities subject to the requirements submitted annual reports.
