In August 2011, EPA deferred the reporting deadline for a number of Subpart W equation inputs until March 31, 2015. In October 2014 [FR 63750] , EPA finalized the approach to collecting these deferred inputs and made several minor modifications to the reporting requirements for Subpart W. As a result, reporters must submit both an expanded set of Subpart W data for Reporting Year 2014 and deferred data elements for Reporting Years 2011, 2012, and 2013 by March 31, 2015.
To accommodate the reporting of Subpart W inputs, EPA has developed: 1) a RY2014 reporting form for Subpart W which includes deferred data elements in 16 source areas and 2) a separate reporting form to collect deferred data for RY2011, RY2012, and RY2013.

On September 26, 2014, the EPA finalized amendments to reporting and recordkeeping requirements and an alternative electronic verification approach (Inputs Verifier Tool or IVT) required for certain reporters subject to the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program. EPA has now launched a publicly accessible Sandbox version of the Inputs Verifier Tool.
