EPA developed the Data Publication Tool to give the public access to non-Confidential Business Information (CBI) emissions data from large facilities and suppliers in the United States. The Data Publication tool allows users to view emissions data in several formats including maps, tables, charts and graphs for individual facilities or groups of facilities. Users may search the data set for individual facilities by name or location or filter the data set according to geopolitical boundaries, industry sectors and sub-sectors, annual facility emission thresholds, and greenhouse gas type. The data was collected using the electronic Greenhouse Gas Reporting Tool (e-GGRT), a web-based application EPA developed to support reporting under the 40 CFR 98 Mandatory Reporting of Greenhouse Gases.
