The electronic Greenhouse Gas Reporting Tool (e-GGRT) will be down for maintenance for a week and a half beginning the evening of Friday, February 6th, 2015. In the event you are subject to a resubmission deadline per 40 CFR § 98.3(h)(2) that falls within this period, EPA strongly encourages you to resubmit your annual report or demonstrate via the EPA Correspondence Folder that the report does not contain a substantive error prior to February 6th.…
EPA has posted the final RY14 XML schema for Subpart W and the draft XML schema for Subpart C.   These materials can be downloaded at RY14 XML Schema and Reporting Instructions. EPA expects to finalize the complete XML reporting schema for RY14 in late January. EPA has also posted two new forms for Subpart W (Petroleum and Natural Gas Systems):  the Subpart W Supersize Reporting Form for RY14 and the Subpart W Supersize Deferred Data Reporting Form for RY11-13.…
EPA has published the draft XML schema for RY2014. Today's release addresses most schema components applicable to RY2014, except the schemas addressing Subparts C and W.  These materials include annual reporting schema, IVT schema and XML reporting instruction documents. The draft XML reporting schema and supporting materials are published at Draft RY14 XML Schema and Reporting Instructions. Please note that the Agency expects to finalize the schema in late January.
EPA is making two new reporting forms for Subpart W - Petroleum and Natural Gas Systems for reporting due on March 31, 2015 available.  These two forms:  Subpart W Reporting Form for RY14 and the Subpart W Deferred Data Reporting for RY11-13 are both designed to be submitted as part each facility's RY14 submission.  These two forms include data whose reporting was deferred until March 31, 2015.…
In August 2011, EPA deferred the reporting deadline for a number of Subpart W equation inputs until March 31, 2015.  In October 2014 [FR 63750] , EPA finalized the approach to collecting these deferred inputs and made several minor modifications to the reporting requirements for Subpart W.  As a result, reporters must submit both an expanded set of Subpart W data for Reporting Year 2014 and deferred data elements for Reporting Years 2011, 2012, and 2013 by March 31, 2015.…
  On September 26, 2014, the EPA finalized amendments to reporting and recordkeeping requirements and an alternative electronic verification approach (Inputs Verifier Tool or IVT) required for certain reporters subject to the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program.  EPA has now launched a publicly accessible Sandbox version of the Inputs Verifier Tool. EPA has posted an updated version of the optional calculation spreadsheet for Hydrogen Production, equation P-1.  Note that this spreadsheet is not used for data reporting, and not required.  It is provided to assist reporters in performing the calculation under equation P-1.  The updated version can be downloaded at Optional Calculation Spreadsheet Instructions.
The electronic Greenhouse Gas Reporting Tool (e-GGRT) is now open for 2013 reporting under EPA's Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP).  The deadline for submitting your facility’s 2013 annual GHG report is March 31, 2014. EPA is making new forms and calculation tools for GHG Reporting available to the public so that facilities and suppliers can begin preparing reporting year 2013 (RY2013) reports, due on March 31st, 2014. Beginning at the close of business on February 7, 2014 the electronic Greenhouse Gas Reporting Tool (e-GGRT) will be unavailable for a period of time. During this period EPA will be conducting maintenance necessary to prepare e-GGRT to accept Reporting Year (RY) 2013 GHG reporting. The EPA estimates that this shutdown period will last one to two weeks after which e-GGRT will accept RY 2013 reporting as well as resubmittal of RY 2010, RY 20111 and RY 2012 GHG reports.…
EPA has published an updated XML reporting schema Version v4.1 for RY2013 which allows facilities to upload their greenhouse gas (GHG) data directly in lieu of using the web forms provided through the Electronic Greenhouse Gas Reporting Tool (e-GGRT). Please note this XML schema Version v4.1 WILL NOT BECOME EFFECTIVE until e-GGRT is made available for 2013 reporting in mid-February (currently e-GGRT will only accept 2010, 2011 and 2012 data).…
EPA has developed the draft RY2013 XML reporting schema in anticipation of reporting due on March 31, 2014. This draft provides a preview of the schema structure planned for the 2013 reporting period. EPA has developed a prototype e-GGRT Inputs Verifier Tool (IVT) to demonstrate features described in the proposed rule, “Revisions to Reporting and Recordkeeping Requirements, and Proposed Confidentiality Determinations under the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program” published on September 11, 2013.
